1. What is this about?
Sponsoring the EUFC squad to allow Liam to retain and build a strong squad for next season.  The team has secured it’s status in the Blue Square Premier with four games to spare – against the odds. We want to make sure that we can do even better next season!

2. How do I sponsor a player?
Just click this link to go to the sponsorship page. You can choose to sponsor the squad as a whole, or a member of the coaching staff. As we begin to offer contracts for next season we’ll add more and more players to the list.

3. How much does it cost to sponsor a player?
If you want to make a one off donation you can specify any amount you like! There is no upper or lower limit.

4. Can I make a monthly contribution?
Of course you can! We’ve fixed those at £5, £10, and £20 a month.

5. Do I have to pay with PayPal?
Our main source of income is PayPal payments and you can make credit/debit card payments this way too. If you would prefer you can make direct bank transfers and/or set up a standing order to the MyFC bank account.

6. How many times can I sponsor someone?
As many times as you like! Most people will make their donations between now and the start of the season in order to help Liam retain as many players as possible over the summer, but we want to give Liam as much scope as possible to improve his squad and we will be publicising this all season. When we sign a new player, when we announce the MyFC Player of the Month, when there’s news of an injury, or a good performance, or an interview, you’ll be offered the chance to sponsor somebody. This is your team and you should be able to show your support!

7. Where will my money go?
Every penny raised from sponsorship will go directly into the playing budget. The amount raised will be displayed on the site.

8. Do I have to be a MyFootballClub member to sponsor a player?
Of course not! The success of Ebbsfleet United affects members, fans, businesses, and the community at large. Everybody deserves the opportunity to sponsor an Ebbsfleet United player and nobody will be excluded. The sponsorship page is viewable to everyone.

9. If a player leaves the club, what happens to my sponsorship money?
The money will already be in the pot for the playing budget so it will still go towards the benefit of the team. If you would like your sponsorship to be switched towards another player then just email sos@myfootballclub.co.uk and we’ll make it happen.

10. How long will the sponsorship be for?
We’re looking to sponsor the squad for the 2012-13 season, and as we mentioned earlier, we will be promoting this all season long. We can reassess our position for the following season around April 2013. Any money raised through this after the 2012-13 season will be put towards next season’s budget.

11. I’m already making monthly payments from last season. What happens with to this?
Monthly sponsorships continue indefinitely until they are cancelled by the sponsor. This means that your current monthly payments will continue to roll over into next season. Any payments you make from this point on will be used to boost the playing budget for the 2012-13 season. If you wish to cancel your payments you can do so by logging into your PayPal account and clicking on the details of a recent transaction.
