A tough-tackling midfielder who serves as the real engine room of the side, Ram was born in Norway and represented his country at youth level. He trialed for Leyton Orient and played for Erith & Belvedere and Grays before moving to St Albans in September 2004.

At Clarence Park, he clocked up almost 100 appearances, scoring 12 times, in two spells. He was instrumental in City’s promotion to the Conference and featured heavily in their one season at that level. In between his two spells, he also played for Dagenham.

He moved to Hayes & Yeading early in 2007-08 and helped his new side to promotion from Blue Square South. In all, he played more than 100 games for Hayes, including a season in the Conference where he scored twice against Oxford and four times in all in April to save the club from relegation.

Released in summer 2010 and snapped up by Liam Daish, Ram won his third promotion from the Blue Square South with the Fleet in 2010-11, and has been the influential mainstay in the Fleet midfield for two seasons.
